Thank you for playing! There's no way to reduce Dissent, you can only slow its growth by playing well. It acts as a timer of sorts. (from our testing it's ample enough to complete the game though) Some parts of the game can be a little confusing indeed, we were too short on time for proper polish pass. Hopefully that didn't hinder your experience.

Is there any way to reduce Dissent? Also I have a hard time telling when to click on the Black Mass characters
